Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-08-08 · Operated by Syntax Foundry, LLC, a Missouri limited liability company doing business as ShredCheck.
1. The service
ShredCheck converts publicly released federal solicitation documents you upload into a compliance-matrix workbook. Output is generated by automated extraction and is provided as a drafting aid — it is not legal, contracting, or professional advice, and it does not replace your own review of the solicitation.
2. Your account-free access
There are no accounts. Purchases, deliveries, and re-runs are managed through the private links sent to the email address you provide at checkout. You are responsible for the accuracy of that address.
3. Your attestation
By submitting a document you affirm that it is a publicly released, unrestricted solicitation; that it carries no distribution statement, CUI, export-control, or classification markings; and that it is not a third party’s proprietary material. You bear responsibility for this attestation.
4. What we promise — and don’t
Extraction is verbatim and page-cited, and the workbook’s coverage tab states what was and was not parsed. We do not promise that the output identifies every obligation in your document, and you should verify the matrix against the source before relying on it. THE SERVICE AND OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
5. Refunds
Any purchase may be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase, for any reason, by emailing support@getshredcheck.com. Failed jobs refund automatically.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to process documents you lack the right to process, to probe or disrupt the service, or to violate any law. We may refuse service or terminate access for violation of these terms.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IS CAPPED AT THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE DOCUMENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM ($49 UNLESS A DIFFERENT TIER APPLIES), AND WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST CONTRACTS, LOST BIDS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY. The parties agree this allocation of risk is reflected in the price.
8. Indemnity
You will indemnify ShredCheck against claims arising from documents you upload in breach of Section 3.
9. Data handling
Documents are parsed in your browser before purchase; paid documents are processed on our infrastructure and deleted within 7 days of delivery. See the Privacy Policy.
10. Disputes
These terms are governed by Missouri law. Any dispute not resolved informally is finally resolved by binding arbitration in Kansas City, Missouri under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, on an individual basis; each party waives class proceedings and jury trial. Either party may instead bring qualifying claims in small-claims court.
11. Changes
Terms may be updated prospectively; the version published at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Material changes are posted at this URL with a new version and effective date.
